It was made for my photography lessons in school. Theme - Selfportrait I hope that teacher will accept this..
Sopor fits to this picture perfectly. Maybe not sound of this song but lyrics indeed : )
"I have no body and I feel no pain for I am no longer here again. Now I can fly through-out the widest space finally I'm set free from all my chains. A farewell to heaven and a farewell to old hell, from now on we shall never meet again. Neither light nor darkness are here to know my way, there'll be no more sadness and there'll no more pain. I can fly, yes, I can fly and I'm no longer here, may this old flesh stay down there forever, I shall not waste a thought. No, I do no longer care.. What I love most about this piece of artwork is the sort of haunting feeling it gives. It's as if I'm literally watching someone's soul or very inner being fall apart. You did a wonderful job with this piece, particullarly with your use of negative space-it seems to really emphasize a sense of isolation if you will. I'm very impressed that you used yourself as the model and it only makes me appreciate the value of the artwork even more because I get the sense and feeling that you put your all into this piece. Well done and I'm a huge fan! I've decided to give you a five out of five on everything for very good reasons: Vision-When I look at this piece, I'm immediately transported into a kind of dream landscape if you will. This is needless to say very creative and, honestly, in my opion very Daily Deviation worthy. Originality-I have never seen a piece done like this before let alone a concept. Technique-The way you did this was very impressive to me. I'm sure it took a lot of work, but I love how simple and yet how complex the piece looks as a whole. Impact-The biggest thing for me when I view a piece of artwork is the emotion I feel from viewing it and what I look for in something like this is the haunting feeling-it's a feeling that gives me goosebumps in a good way because I can tell all the effort and originality that was put into it. I feel an immediate personal connection to piece and I'm just left blown away. This doesn't happen to me that often which makes me even more impressed with you. Sorry for writing so much, but I felt the need to tell you all that. You really are amazing and I can't wait to see this in the Daily Deviations!
